A good question!

If the answer is "no", then an indication by the developers of when the next version release is likely would be of great interest to users.

There have been no real improvements in seonote for three years.
Major bug reports have been ignored.
Developers have promised they would work on the program, but never found the time.

Too bad. Lots of potential, lots of promises, but no real results.
Although Keynote has not been supported for years, it has fewer bugs and more features than does seonote.

If seonote would only perform searches, as keynote does.
(search all notes...)

Sad Sad Sad

this is actually the reason why i swiitched temporarily to keynote. <grin>
unfortunately, ive tested on a few occasions that keynote's find feature also fails at times.

not sure why.

Finding in Keynote:
Maybe you discovered that you cannot find words which are
only contained in Node Names but not insde the node text ?
In that case you just have to use the find option inside the resource panel.
(Press F9 ...)

@seo people:
Welcome back 2 life!
Thanx for releasing 3.26 !!! Very Happy
Good job!

Request: Could you pls offer a button or shortcut for "Edit / Find / Advanced Find" ?
(I need this function frequently)

sending very best regards

Sure. It will be added in a next version. I think this next version will be done most quickly than 1.3.26 Smile

while we're sitting here looking for changes, others have done their way.
Have you seen TotalTextContainer? It's gone way beyond KeyNote's frontier.
All I regret here is that we don't know where we are going to:
- bugs like "broken HTML view", win98/winMe support (though said to work in front page)... are not adressed so far;
- the futur of it, since freeware, we'll you release it open-source so you get more developers to help than you can by yourselves? Look at other projects and see how contributions can boost progress (not to mention the biggest ones ? la OOffice.org or FireFox).

thank you for enlighting us about it all.

Clu
