ADMIN,

For me, putting the data in to the program isn't important as getting the information out of the program. Putting the information in to SEONOTE would be because I want to remember or keep information, but when I want to share this information, I don't think it should be a chore.

I don't currently use your program; I tried it about 2 years ago. I currently use MyNotesKeeper, but as I mentioned getting the information out is more important to me.

So if I spend time putting it in the system, organizing and structuring and formatting the information; I want to be able to export it in the same manner. Whether it be RTF, HTML, TXT and CHM, it should be as I created it. You don't offer CHM files; bummer.

One thing that many of these type programs lack is the ability to export the information in a organized manner.

For instance, the basis of your program is to structure information in a tree fashion, but I've been looking at your export and save functions; you don't offer a way to export/save data for more than 1 item at a time. Wouldn't it seem obvious to ask this question when saving/exporting data?

And as the data is being exported, if it's indented when you composed it, or indented in the tree structure, would it not be indented (or an option) to indent sub items?

I've to admit, I really like the concept you have behind the item 'types' (html, rtf, and txt). Absolute selections types, but with the option to convert and see source code (code it yourself); cool

All of the basic editing for using your program is there, plus lots of tweaks from the first time I tried your program; I like it.

The program seems to be a bit slow when switching to HTML notes; I'm only using the DB that came with the installer. So larger files would make me nervous in this area.

Moving over or swithcing is a big deal for anyone; I've too much data to migrate to SEONOTE right now and SEONOTE doesn't offer a way to import (not from the selections I saw) to import, txt, rtf or HTML (or batches of). I'll be really interested in a version that could either import .MNK files or import batches of .RTF files.

These types of programs are great for keeping information, but getting out of them almost requires a divorce lawyer.

Thanks for your time and great job thus far!

We added Advanced Export ability to SEO Note. Now you can export rtf, text and html nodes in a one file or each node in a separate file using a various export settings like as "export current selected node with subnodes" (current selected folder or current SEO Note file) or "export only rtf nodes" (or only text or only html) or "export only checked nodes" (or not checked ) etc.

It will be available in a next SEO Note version.

Seonote team.
